Can One Person’s Suffering Be Another Person’s Happiness Essays

Can One Person’s Suffering Be Another Person’s Happiness Essays Can One Person’s Suffering Be Another Person’s Happiness Essay Can One Person’s Suffering Be Another Person’s Happiness Essay The writer Fyodor Dostoevsky draws two inconceivable situations that together feature the commonplace universe of the potential battles between one’s ain felicity and the felicity of others. First imagine a universe that is a perfect world with the exception of that it is based upon the distress of an individual child. At that point think about a person who is happy to give the rest of the universe so as to get his ain prosperity. The request. one we face on an everyday balance whether we examine it or non. is the manner by which we experience and worth our ain felicity comparable to the felicity of others. Dostoevsky demonstrates. through the tone of these advances. that any individual ready to give others for his ain advantage must be in the wrongâ€be it everybody known to mankind giving one person. or on the other hand one individual giving every other person known to mankind. However, more fundamentally. Dostoevsky infers that something must be off base with any person who could acknowledge such a penance it’s non so much an undertaking of good judgment against the individuals who could acknowledge that a child be tormented for their advantage. or on the other hand against the Underground Man for taking his ain tranquility of head over the open help of the rest of the universe. Dostoevsky plainly dislikes these Acts of the Apostless. be that as it may, the books from which these advances are taken welcome us to feel for these individuals and to try to see how they came to be so primitive. furthermore, in that lies Dostoevsky’s more profound centrality. How. so. migh t anyone be able to acknowledge their felicity on the undue blood of an anguished youngster and how could the Underground Man stomach some tea purchased at such a darling money related worth? A basic part that would do this brutal treatment feasible for certain individuals however inconceivable for others is whether one could truly be cheerful under such fortunes. As the character Ivan admirations. holding acknowledged such a relinquish. how might anybody remain everlastingly glad? So as to relax the advantages. one would hold to blockade out. or on the other hand someway defuse. the cognizance of the distress childâ€her cryings must be lonely. For in the event that one were non sleeping to it. the discernment of that suffering would meddle with one’s ain felicity. A person who could non help yet experience the desolation of others as existent and significant would neer acknowledge such dull relinquishes for his ain happinessâ€in actuality would non have the option to be glad at any rate. under such conditions. For a person who feels the misery of others as in any event mostly his ain distress. there could be no straightforward battle between his ain felicity and the felicity of others. Be that as it may, regardless of whether one supports it or non. the truth of the matter is that a significant number of us have profited in some significant way from the reluctant relinquishes of others. See. for outline. how a general public that got princely through advancements, for example, subjugation or the plunder of war would experience on untold focal points to its families. These favorable circumstances incorporate non just material riches. in any case, other than less touchable products, for example, guidance. or then again even mental advantages, for example, affirmation. Or then again observe a grown-up male or grown-up female who is constrained by their accomplice or guardians into surrendering their fantasy occupation so as to have the option to back up the family at a higher measure of life. From single. individual Acts of the Apostless of self-centeredness to political unfairnesss on a cultural graduated table. we might be entrapped in some way or other with underhanded picked up wagess. Despite the fact that these advantages may non hold been looked for by us. what's more, we may hold had no immediate capacity in the relinquishes that achieved them. still it appears to be occupant on us to see Dostoevsky’s impactful inquiry what amount should we experience the stinging of others. exceptionally those whose suffering in some way or another turned into our favorable position?

An Analysis Of Environmental Toxicology Environmental Sciences Essay

An Analysis Of Environmental Toxicology Environmental Sciences Essay Ecological Toxicology is a quickly creating field worried about the examination how normal and man-had poisons effect the wellbeing of people, natural life, and entire biological systems. It includes utilization of an assortment of strategies to examine the effect of poisonous operators on living creatures and gives useful assets to surveying the dangers related with the nearness of these specialists. It draws on an assortment of logical orders to depict, measure, clarify and anticipate the seriousness and recurrence of unfriendly consequences for living beings because of ecological toxicant presentation. Contamination, consumption of assets and breaking down of environmental capacities are of worldwide, local and nearby concerns. Ecological toxicology presents numerous commonsense applications to these issues. The discoveries are utilized by government offices to set new contamination control norms and to break down the seriousness of harm in a biological system and build up the sha rpest approaches to tidying it up. Land improvement organizations may likewise work with natural toxicologists to put forth sure that clearing and development attempts are as earth amicable as could be expected under the circumstances. It includes testing soil, water, and air tests to search for the source contamination, and utilize their discoveries to all the more likely comprehend wellbeing impacts on local species. Pakistan, as creating nation, is confronting difficulties with various genuine ecological issues, for example, degeneration of normal assets, modern and vehicular contamination, contamination of beach front condition, disintegration of human wellbeing. Summing up in monetary terms, the yearly expense of natural criticism in the nation is about 4.3 % of GDP (US $ 4.3 billion). This workshop is about the developing measure of contamination in Pakistan. Inspects discoveries of various investigations demonstrating that wellbeing is by and large unfavorably influenced by a n assortment of natural contaminants. The above circumstance has emerged because of various elements including high populace development rate, winning neediness, impromptu urban and mechanical extension, deficient accentuation on ecological assurance in the administration strategies, absence of open mindfulness and training and absence of institutional limit and assets for viable natural administration. To forestall proceeded with ecological debasement and the decrease of human natural wellbeing, collaborations between human, other living life forms and the earth must be in agreement. This is attainable through a coordinated, comprehensive methodology enveloping training and research exercises in normal sciences, financial and political components with mechanical, monetary and socio-social intercessions. Expanding attention to natural debasement is bringing about expansion of ecological enactment all through the world. This drive towards more prominent ecological security has made a n interest for researchers talented in evaluating natural assets and all the more significantly the issues related with their abuse. Natural appraisal might be required to assess the organic, physical or hydrological assets of any condition, and to put these assets inside a more extensive geological setting. This workshop is a push to give a wide establishment of logical based abilities to develop, preparing ecological callings, especially in zones identifying with natural security and the board. Moreover, the national and universal prerequisites have been under worry for better ecological administration understanding the between connection between manageable monetary turn of events and natural insurance. Introductory statements from Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf, Chairman division of pharmacology and toxicology/the Director Research UVAS, were trailed by that of Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nawaz, Vice chancellor UVAS, and Prof. Dr. Mrs. Kausar Jamal Cheema, Dean Faculty of Natural Sciences, Lahore College for Women University, every one of whom accentuated the significance to use the aggregate intelligence in arrangement of improved techniques for harmfulness appraisal and discerning methods for assessing wellbeing hazard so as to elevate general wellbeing and to give a superior and more secure condition to forestall medical issues before they happen. They included further it is our crucial train new natural toxicologists and address appropriate ecological toxicology inquiries through instruction and research in regions, for example, synthetic destiny, bioavailability, organic impact, toxicokinetics, and systems of activity. An attention on interdisciplinary methodologies and logical aptitudes is principal to our instruction and research exercises. Dr. Sohail Ejaz (co-creator of this report), PhD, University of Cambridge, UK co-ordinator and workshop coordinator introduced on the imaginative appraisal strategies for assessing effect of Air Pollution upon Neuroinflammatory sicknesses of Central sensory system and how these investigations could be actualized in our research centers. New measurements have been added to the variety of result measures. Clinical results inquire about now perceives that patient prosperity ought to be comprehensively conceptualized and estimated thoroughly, notwithstanding thinking about the organic procedure of the illness itself. Accordingly, wellbeing related personal satisfaction, the impression of prosperity, is currently viewed as an essential part of results investigate. Toxicologic examinations have additionally picked up in modernity through joining of progressively delicate pointers of impact and the cautious following of the connection among introduction and organically important portions to target destinations, which may now be considered at an atomic level. He likewise gave a diagram of all his examination exercises led at Department of Clinical Neuroscience and how to function upon such procedures in our nation with scarced assets and what focuses to be accomplished further to conquer ecological contamination issues in Pakistan. Dr. Sohail Ejaz conclude to create and bolster examine projects, outreach and different administrations that address basic issues in ecological wellbeing and toxicology. A universal speaker Prof. Dr. Gerry Amor Camer, Dean, College of Veterinary Medicine from University of Eastern Philippines, communicated through video conferencing office. He shared his surprising exploration deal with tissue toxicology and introduced a discussion on Understanding the pathology of tissues presented to different poisons and contaminations. Appraisal of the ecological impacts of synthetic compounds is confounded as it relies upon the living beings tried and includes the poisonousness of individual synthetic substances, yet in addition their intelligent impacts, genotoxicity, mutagenecity and immunotoxicity testing. He further explained that various stressors influence the earth and here and there when demonstrating synergistic impacts they become hard to measure or anticipate their individual impacts. Along these lines, there is a need to comprehend the toxicant impacts at atomic levels to anticipate their belongings and existing methods to be continually adjusted to give better methods for their measurement. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, Department of natural life and biology, UVAS, introduced on Sources and Health impacts of various Air contaminations. The components for demonstrating and understanding the destiny of air poisons through climatic vehicle, affidavit into water and soil, bioaccumulation, and extreme take-up to receptor organs and frameworks in the human body are intricate. These require progressively trial and hypothetical advancements so as to create approaches for portrayal and fitting systems and examines for screening so as to recognize the hurtful operators and keep them from arriving at delicate endpoints. This course and workshop gave specialists from all over Pakistan a complete stage where all features of ecological contamination as it exists in our nation to be completely investigated and a gathering to these experts and scientists to examine and introduce most recent research patterns and results in the field of Toxicology. Such activities help to help the examination, investigation, and arrangement of ecological issues which are eventually influencing the strength of people, creatures, plants, soils and over all eco-framework honesty. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf featured diverse research exercises rendered by the branch of Pharmacology and Toxicology in the ongoing years at his organization. He talked about the foundation of new labs at the division a push to open entryways to numerous new measurements in this manner advancing the headway and use of logical research identified with the contaminants. This incorporated the foundation of Angiogenesis Toxicology lab (ATRL) and a Neurop harmacology lab in the workforce a dynamic advance for Applied Neuropharmacology Cancer look into. He expounded further that our exploration expects to decide how natural contaminations collaborate with cell capacities and offer ascent to enduring unfriendly wellbeing impacts in vertebrates including people. We are especially inspired by poisonous impacts that focus on the hormone framework, the regenerative framework and the early mental health and different frameworks in vertebrates. Catalyst catalyzed actuation in target cells and tissues and receptor-intervened reactions are significant regions of research. With a presentation of these labs, it is likewise an exertion in pulling in exceptionally excellent understudies across Pakistan and outside qualified and significant employees to take lead on suitable research ventures expected to address our nation explicit issues. Speakers from different colleges and Govt. divisions introduced their exploration tasks and research papers. Mr. Khaleeq Anwar, PhD Scholar, introduced his work on Impact of Automobile rickshaw on Public wellbeing. Winterizing Your Home How To Prep for Winter on the Cheap

Winterizing Your Home How To Prep for Winter on the Cheap How to Prep Your Home for Winter on the Cheap How to Prep Your Home for Winter on the CheapDon’t let the winter frosts crack a hole in your budget. The summer weather may be lasting longer this year, but the cold shall come again. And when it does, you want to be ready for it. If you have a family, you don’t want them to be freezing through the season, and even if you live on your own, you still shouldn’t want to freeze. It’s very bad for your health.Of course, you can always run up huge heating bills and take out a high-interest loan to pay for damage from winter storms. Thats one way to get through  to springâ€"although your savings might not make it. Being broke isn’t as bad as freezing to death, the former can certainly lead to the latter, so it’s really better avoided. That’s why the time to start winterizing your home right now.  The sooner you get prepped, the better chance youll have to avoid serious bills and the predatory bad credit loans and no credit check loans that follow in their wake. That’s why we spoke to the experts to find out how you can get your home ready for winter for less. Read on to learn how to prepare your home for winter weather and save cash!Get an audit (the good kind)The first step in spending less on heating your home is figuring out how much you’re actually spending on heating your home and energy in your home in general. And the best way to do that is with an audit.“I just bought a home that is quite old, and Im worried about the energy costs I will accrue,” financial expert Maggie Germano (@MaggieGermano) told us, sharing her personal experience with preparing her home for winter. “This is especially true in the master bedroom, which was built into what used to be the attic. There are clearly some insulation issues, and I dont want to go broke paying my utilities. One solution Ive found is to get a home energy audit. There is a local company that teams up with my states environment department in order to cut energy use and spending. They assess you r home and recommend any changes or updates you should incorporate. To make it better, they tell you about any tax benefits you can get from the state by implementing these changes. So not only will you save money on energy costs, but youll also likely get a tax break for doing so. Im really looking forward to my energy audit, and cant wait to make my home as sustainable as possible.”Award-winning author Shel Horowitz (@shelhorowitz) advised how not to spend too much on your audit: “Get an energy audit from your local electric company. Power companies are under instructions to encourage conservation, so they typically do energy audits for free or for a $10 or $20 fee.”Of course, if you want to be sure you’re getting your energy audit for free, you can always perform your own version. “One way to prepare your home for winter is to review your electricity bills and address how much you’re actually paying for electricity,” suggested Kelly Bedrich, co-founder of  Electricit yPlans.com  (@shopelectricity). “If your home uses an electric heating system, electric hot water heater, or if you pull a Clark Griswold and like to go crazy with the holiday lights, you may benefit from shopping for a lower electricity rate.”Bedrich even offered some specific ways you can lower your rate in a previous article about keeping your house cool for less during the summer. But, of course, there are changes in behavior and home you can make to really rack up the savings while staying warm.Insulate, insulate, insulateA properly insulated house can be as warm as a little furry fox wrapped in a blanket licking hot cocoa from a small dog bowl by a roaring fire surrounded by a family telling it how much they love it.To that end, Ali Wenzke (@AliWenzke)  of  The Art of Happy Moving told us two essential insulation goals. The first targets one of the more obvious ways that the cold air cold air can leak into your house: the windows.“For under $10, you can make a huge impact on cutting down your winter heating bills by using a window insulation kit. If done properly, you wont even notice the plastic wrap on your windows. If youre not crazy about the look, then compromise and only insulate windows that you see less often or that are usually covered by window treatments.”The other location is a little bit spookier: “Even if theres a layer of insulation in your unconditioned attic floor, the problem is that the heat will rise to fill the cold area created by any leaks or holes. Namely, the heat youre trying to conserve in your home will sneak its way up through the attic door. To save yourself some money in the long term, invest in an attic insulation tent or a box that fits over the opening of your pull-down stairs.”John Bodrozic, co-founder of Homezada (@HomeZada) gave us even more advice for keeping the heat from leaking out of the attic:“Check the attic for spots or areas where the insulation is a bit thin. This could be over an access door, o r in areas around pipes, and equipment that go through the attic floor and into the house. Adding a few layers of insulation there really helps warm air from escaping the house.“Check your ductwork in the attic. Most ductwork in the attic is hung, and therefore develops a sag over time. This sagging can create a situation where a smaller piece of the ductwork has disconnected from a bigger part. This creates a lot of waste as hot conditioner air is blowing into the attic and not into the house/room where the disconnected duct is.“In addition, you should consider insulating the ductwork and making sure as much of each duct is wrapped in insulation. This is another area where heat escapes and thus the house not being as warm as it should.”But that’s not all!Finding an outletIt turns out there might be heat leaking out of your house in nearly every room. Here’s what Horowitz told us to look out for:“Put your hand over an electrical outlet on an outside wall on a cold night and you’ll feel the rush of frigid air! Insulate your electrical outlets, switches, and phone jacks on outside walls. If your energy auditor didn’t give them to you, most hardware stores sell inexpensive foam outlet and phone jack insulation pads; just unscrew the faceplate, slip the foam pad on, and put the faceplate back.”Now let’s climb up onto the roof! The roof, the roof, the roof being on fire isn’t an advisable way to keep your house warmLet’s head all the way to the roof of the house now, or as nobody calls it, the hat of your home.“Your roof is integral, keeping your house warm, dry, insulated and protected from the outdoors,” Sage Singleton, home maintenance expert at Safewise (@SafeWise), advised. “Just like a car needs a regular oil change, your roof needs a regular inspection to make sure it is in good condition. Dont wait for the harsh winter months to see if the roof is leaking or has ice backup. Ice backup forms in winter and is caused by poor ventila tion or inadequate insulation in the attic.”And Singleton also had some advice for the roof’s sideburns, the gutters: “Gutters control water flow, away from your roof, walls, and foundation. When they get clogged with leaves and debris throughout the year, they no longer function properly. If your gutters are clogged, they can cause water to overflow and flood your basement. Clean out your rain gutters, ideally each spring and fall. Cleaning your gutters in the autumn ensures they are clear of debris and will function properly in the cold, wet months to come.”And what are gutters, really, butThe time is pipepipes that have been cut in half. And when it comes to getting your house ready for winter, it’s important to get the pipes ready.“During winter, outside water can freeze and burst exterior pipes,” warned Singleton. “Rather than letting this happen, take precautions to prevent frozen pipes by disconnecting all garden hoses and draining any water left in outdoor sp igots. If you have an automatic sprinkler system, drain it as well.If the temperature will drop below freezing overnight, leave exterior faucets trickling to avoid the pressure buildup that causes burst pipes. You can also avoid frozen and burst pipes inside your house by insulating your home and pipes. Use foam, heating cables, or pipe sleeves, and seal any cracks in your home’s exterior.”When you winterize around the house, you winterize AROUND the houseAnd now, before we go, we’ve got some more general tips you can use to keep your house warm on the cheap.Carson Yarbrough, personal finance and savings specialist for credit cards at Offers.com (@Offers), gave us three different winter prep tips. The first was about your water heater: “Get free savings with this simple trick. Hot water heaters are typically set at around 140 degrees. Lower the temperature on yours to 120 for savings on thermal energy costs. You’ll also lessen the chance of accidental burns, and the water w ill still be hot enough for showers, laundry and doing the dishes!”Next she offered us a way to insulate one of the few places in the house we hadn’t told you to insulate yet: “You can install a door sweep to stop chilly winds from entering your home under an outside door. A door sweep is a flexible piece of rubber or plastic that’s held to the door’s lower edge by a strip of aluminum. You can find cheap door sweeps at home improvement stores anywhere from $6-$40.”And your furnace filters? Yeah, Yarbrough told us you’re going to want to replace those: “Dirty furnace filters reduce furnace efficiency and raise heating utility bills. They also shorten the life of a furnace! Check and replace the furnace filter monthly in winter to see savings on your monthly bill. If youre unable to see through the filter, its time to replace it. You can find a 4 pack at Walmart for just $15 $3.75 a filter well worth it for those added winter savings!”Jeffrey Weldler, Marketing Dir ector and Interior Decorating Expert at Vänt Wall Panels (@VantPanels), gave us a couple tips of things to keep an eye on around the house: “Keep closet doors closed and close off rooms you don’t use. Close vents in unused rooms so you don’t pay to heat space you’re not using. Look for cracks in your exterior or foundation. You can seal them with caulking to keep the draft out. Also check the roof for missing shingles or tiles to make sure moisture doesn’t get in your attic and cause mold.”Finally, Kelly McClenahan, decluttering expert for Price Self Storage (@PriceStorage), told us a way to winterize your home while making it even homier: “This time of transition is a good time to spruce up your home and organize your things for the coming cold seasons. Arrange blankets on couches, chairs, and beds throughout the house so they will be within reach when the chill starts creeping in.Make your bedroom ready for the cold by switching out your light summery bed linens for cozier fabrics and richer colors. Flannel sheets are great for cold nights. Layer blankets or even a faux fur throw to add richness and warmth. Slippers are the best way to keep your feet warm in the winter. A basket of slippers by your front door for visitors to don after taking off their muddy or snowy boots would be a nice touch.”Take all of this advice, and your home will be as warm as our appreciation for you! Characteristics of Psychopathic Personalities

Psychopaths are incapable of feeling guilt, remorse, or empathy for their actions or the objects of their actions. They are generally cunning and manipulative. They know the difference between right and wrong but dont believe the rules apply to them. First Encounter With a Psychopath On first impression, psychopaths generally appear charming, engaged, caring, friendly, logical, and reasonable, with well thought-out goals. They give the impression that they can reason, that they know the consequences for antisocial and unlawful behavior and will  react appropriately. They appear capable of self-examination and will criticize  themselves for mistakes. Under clinical evaluation, psychopaths dont show  common symptoms associated with neurotic behavior: nervousness, high anxiety, hysteria, mood swings,  extreme fatigue, and headaches. In situations that most normal people would find upsetting, psychopaths appear calm and void of fear and anxiety. An About-Face Initially,  psychopaths appear  reliable, devoted, and trustworthy, but, suddenly and without provocation, become unreliable, with no regard for how their actions affect the situation, regardless of its importance. Once viewed as honest and sincere, they do a sudden about-face and begin lying without concern, even in small matters when there is no benefit in lying. Because psychopaths have mastered the art of deception, those around them are slow to accept the abrupt change. When psychopaths are confronted with their lack of responsibility, honesty or loyalty, it generally has no impact on their attitude or future performance. They are unable to perceive that other people value  truthfulness and integrity. Cant Accept Responsibility for Failure Psychopaths turn into performers who can mimic normal human emotions that they have never felt. This holds true when theyre faced with failure. If they appear to be humble and own up to their mistakes, their true goal is to be perceived as the martyr or sacrificial lamb willing to accept blame so others dont have to. If the ploy fails and they are blamed, they will emphatically deny any responsibility and, without feeling shame, turn to lies, manipulation, and finger-pointing. When psychopaths cant convince others that they are innocent, they fume and obsess over it, often murmuring sarcastic comments and plotting revenge. Risky  Behavior With No Gain Antisocial behavior—cheating, lying, robbing, stealing, agitating, fighting, committing adultery, killing—appeals to psychopaths, whether or not they reap any rewards.  They appear drawn to high-risk antisocial behavior that has no apparent goal. Some experts theorize that psychopaths like to put themselves into dangerous situations because of the  adrenaline rush they experience. Because psychopaths generally dont feel many emotions that normal people do, any extreme sensation feels good. Others believe that they do it to reinforce their sense of superiority and to prove that they are smarter than everyone, including the police. Horrible Judgment Although psychopaths are logical thinkers and view themselves as highly intelligent, they consistently exhibit bad judgment. Faced with two paths, one to gold and the other to ashes, the psychopath will take the latter. Because psychopaths cant learn from their experiences, they are prone to taking the same path again and again. Egocentric and Unable to Love Psychopaths are highly egomaniacal, to the point that a  normal person has difficulty comprehending it. Their  self-centeredness  is so deeply rooted that it renders them incapable of loving others, including parents, spouses, and their own children. The only time psychopaths show an ordinary response to kindness or special treatment by others is when it can be used to their advantage. For example,  a psychopathic father still loved by his children despite the deep  suffering he has caused them  may put on a show of appreciation so that they continue to put money into his prison account or pay his legal fees. Conventional Treatment Empowers Psychopaths Most studies indicate that there are no conventional methods to cure psychopathic behavior. When conventional methods have been used, psychopaths become empowered  and react by improving their cunning, manipulative methods and their ability to conceal their true personality, even from trained eyes. Difference Between Psychopaths and Sociopaths Psychopaths and sociopaths share a diagnosis as having antisocial personality disorder and similar traits, but there are significant differences. Psychopaths are more deceptive and manipulative and maintain more control over their outward personas. They are able to lead what appear to be normal lives, sometimes throughout their lifetime. When psychopaths become criminals they believe they are smarter than the average person and invincible. Sociopaths often let their inner rage surface with violent episodes, verbally and physically. They become reckless and spontaneous and have little control over what they say or how they act. Because they are impulse driven, they rarely consider the consequences of their actions. It is difficult for sociopaths to live normal lives, and because of their imprudence many of them drop out of school, cant hold jobs, turn to crime, and end up in prison. Which Is More Dangerous? Sociopaths have a difficult time hiding their disorder, while psychopaths pride themselves on their manipulative abilities. Psychopaths are masters of disassociation and less likely to feel guilt or remorse for their actions or for the pain that they cause others. Because of this, psychopaths are considered to be more dangerous than sociopaths. Source:  The Mask of Sanity,  by  Hervey M. Cleckley

Risks and Benefits of Genetically Modified Foods Essays

Risks and Benefits of Genetically Modified Foods Ideally, the debate over whether or not to allow the widespread use of genetically modified products would take the form of a scientific cost-benefit analysis, in which the expected gains were weighed against the potential risks. In such a scenario, one would imagine that genetically modified products would then be divided into three categories: those whose proposed benefits clearly outweigh their possible dangers; those whose possible dangers clearly outweigh their proposed benefits; and those whose dangers and benefits are too closely matched to make a final determination based on anything more than guesswork. Unfortunately, the debate has too often strayed away from hard science into†¦show more content†¦Now, almost suddenly, it is becoming clear that to reduce life to the scope of our understanding (whatever model we use) is inevitably to enslave it, make property of it, and put it up for sale (Berry, 11). The use of what Ayn Rand termed the Argument from Intimidation is noticeable here: The essential characteristic of the Argument from Intimidation is its appeal to moral self-doubt and its reliance on the fear, guilt or ignorance of the victim. It is used in the form of an ultimatum demanding that the victim renounce a given idea without discussion, under threat of being considered morally unworthy (Rand, 119). In this case, anyone who disagrees with the author by daring to believe that life is mechanical or predictable or understandable is clearly enslaved and thoughtless, or so Berry implies. Childish use of rhetoric aside, this argument is notable for its philosophical implications. Unlike some environmentalists who argue that we cannot predict and understand life, Berry seems to think that we can, but that we should not, because doing so somehow reduces it, though what exactly he means by that is unclear (its value to him? its mystery? its meaning?) Humanitys attempts to understand the world, including the living world, are encapsulated under the term science. Cancer is detrimental to people. It is not just a sip le disease but is also treated as a human killer. It is considered as one of the most serious health problem next to heart disease. We will write a custom essay sample on Acs History or any similar topic only for you Order Now Being defined, cancer is illness on which the cells grow and divide beyond the normal limit, destroy other cells, and even spread this into different part and location of the body. This disease chooses no limit; anyone can have these types of condition. Millions of people suffer from this fatal condition. It was estimated by experts, that after several years, cancer would claim for about 6. 2 million lives including men, women, and even children. Also, according to them, it is possible that there would be more victims affected by cancer globally for the coming years. However, given such fact, there are still many reported cases that successfully passed the tragic of having cancer. That’s why there have been different organizations who want to help the problem and minimize the number of victim of cancer. One of those organizations is the American Cancer Society, which has mire than 3,400 offices worldwide and is located at Atlanta Georgia. Former American Society for the Control of Cancer (ASCC), the American Cancer Society was established in 1913 joined by 15 physicians including business leaders in New York City. It was considered as one of the most unforgettable in the history of New York, for having such organization concern with public health. In the early 1913, cancer was not that known and not often reported to the public and society. Awareness of cancer was very low for that moment. Decease victimizes 75,000 people a year in the United States only cause by the decease itself. People involved in the society knew that they have to make public awareness through proper education and information dissemination about cancer if they want progress†¦ Doctors, nurses, and professionals had advertising campaigns containing articles that educate masses with regards to cancer. There has been a campaign that encourages doctors and physicians to be part of the society as well as the campaign. By 1936, Marjorie G. Illig came up with the idea of a new way to have that progress. The proposal was by creating an organization of new selected volunteers that will promote war against cancer. That was called the Women’s Field Army. First step done was to raise money by using different tactics. Through this, Clarence Little, who was the ASCC’s managing director reported that by 1935, 15,000 people who suffered cancer were in control. By 1938, number of victims of cancer reached up to ten times of the previous. After this, ASCC was renamed by American Cancer Society in the year 1945. 1946, they have risen for over $4 million reserved for the education program of the society. Year 1947, there has been public awareness through showing and releasing ads that indicates the signs of having cancer. This was called â€Å"Cancers Danger Signals†. These includes: there’s a wound that does not heal, thickening in other part of the body most especially in the breast, abnormal bleeding, change or difference on warts, continuous indigestion and cough, and difference in bowel habits. After 10 years, this was changed and was replaced by CAUTION. 1980, Dr Sidney Farber was the first receiver of the Society’s program. Aminopterin was first used for the cure of the disease, followed by the era chemotherapy as another way of treatment for cancer. Through the years, they discovered that smoking is closely associated with the cause of cancer and showed the relevance of cleaning or termed Pap smear, Interferon as fighting drug for cancer and many more. They funded researches for over $3 billion dollars as well for the Novel Prize winner. Middle point of the American Cancer Society was the creation of the logo of the ACS. The sword which symbolizes the continuous fight for cancer and twined serpents symbolizes the prevention of the disease. Now, the organization has established their name which helps and supports the cancers victims. What we discussed is the positive side, now let’s look more about ACS. It was reported that the American Cancer Society is really receiving wealth being â€Å"charity†. From James Bennett, a professor in the course economics at the University of George Mason, declared that in 1988, ACS had a total balance of $410 million and worth $69 million of lands, buildings and equipment and spent only $90 million or just 26 percent of its budget for researches and other medical programs. The balance of the money was used for operating charges which includes salaries for employees, pensions and many more. By 1989, the fund reached up to $700 million and in 1991, trough the beliefs of the Americans that they greatly help in fighting cancer; they shared $350 million which was 6 percent higher than the previous year. Fund of ACS mostly comes from the public, but with the following decades, corporations have also shared to support the program. Then, there exist the American Cancer Foundation mainly created so that ACS can now legally ask for fund in many ways like soliciting. The result of this effort was not wasted but instead a great success. There are millions of fund entered the organization. 1992, there is this certain article who said that ACS is not really for the sake of cancer victims, but instead, for money and wealth. ACS didn’t stop searching way to gather funds. There is continuous fund raising that was said to support the cancer programs and having money at hand for about $750 million and assets. Also at the same year, the Wall Street Journal, author Thomas DiLorenzo declared that ACS owned over $11 million worth of land and real estate and also 56 cars which was owned by the executives and other 45 for the staffs and employees. Having the budget, they only gave its 10 percent for public services. Needless to say, not all money was brought to the cancer victims. Moreover, only 16 percent of the derived fund goes for the direct service of ACS. Where the money goes? Large percent of the fund raised by ACS went to salaries, travel expenses of executives, and many more. The truth is that more than half of the budget goes to the expenditure of the executives and employees. To be exact, that is about 52 percent of the fund raised obviously bigger than where the money should be allotted. There have been appeals for fund raising due to the insufficient fund, but the question is, why there is so much expenditure by top management. Donors and contributors believes that their contributions goes with the treatment of patients suffering from cancer and not for own goods. To achieve progress, there must be proper allocation of budget the aims to protect and help cancer victims. It should be use for different cancer services and programs. Another one, there exists the fund, for researches, they do not focus on the ways on how to prevent the disease but instead promoting drugs that will cure cancer. Through this, people can conclude that they were not really aiming to fight cancer but instead to advertise products that will cure cancer. It seems that the fund supposedly for preventing cancer went to the research of drugs that will cure and later, will be sold to the people. In addition, the way used by ACS for fighting cancer is the â€Å"blame-the-victim† strategy. They continuously blame people rather than educating for a healthy environment unexposed to carcinogens. Their silence with the issue benefited corporations that are large contributors of pollution and carcinogens. Given their promises to wipe cancer 100 percent globally failed to the do so. They were not heard in the Congress even there are lots of opportunities to be heard. ACS continued to fail for responding with the Congress. These are the proofs: 1. 1971, ACS refused the invitation to have their testimony in FDA to ban the used of diethylstilbestrol (DES). 2. ACS disagreed that hair coloring products with dyes can also cause cancer. 3. ACS rejects the Congressional Moratorium which bans the use of saccharin. The continuous rejection of ACS tested their sincerity with the program and the organization for treating cancer. Because of this, there are scientist who declared that ACS was not performing well to prevent people from the elements in the environment that causes cancer. This report of criticism declared that the exposure of people in an environment rich in cancer causing elements resulted human suffered from the disease. What they want to imply is that, ACS should make ways to prevent cancer instead of researching things on how to cure it. Studies showed that exposure to different elements such carcinogens fasten the growth of cancer. What ACS should do is to respond with Congress, and make it as partner of imposing laws that will ban the used of different cancer causing elements. They should not neglect the opportunity to solve the worsening problem of cancer. If they really want to advocate and help people against cancer, they should set objectives that promotes the prevention rather than in the way of curing. In addition, funds gathered should goes on where it should be, because there are lot of people who really want to address this worsening problem. They should not waste the time that the public still trust their name as one of the most charitable organization the helps the public. They have established a good name globally, it should be used well, so that people suffering from the disease receives what they should receive. It’s the life that matters, and life is the issue. We should not sacrifice one for our own sake. Works Cited DiLorenzo, T. J. Uneconomic war on cancer. Journal of Wall Street, March 1992, p. A10. Hall, H. , and Williams, G. Unfortunately, his impatient and irritable temperament forces Juliet ask Friar Lawrence for help, which ultimately generate the tragedy of Juliet. Next, the hatred between Lord Capulet and Lord Montague directly lead to Juliet’s death. The issues between two families is mentioned at the beginning of the play, â€Å"Two households, both alike in dignity, in fair Verona where we lay our scene, from ancient grudge break, to new mutiny, where civil hands make civil hands unclean, from forth the fatal loins of these two foes†(Prologue). If two families do not have that enmity for each other, they will not have any hesitation with the marriage between Romeo and Juliet. Lord Capulet is so self-esteem that he can’t seeks for peace between two families. The arguments of the two families have prevent the love between Romeo and Juliet and finally result in â€Å"star-cross’d lovers† death. Lord Capulet, as Juliet’s father, directly lead to Juliet’s death, furthermore, Juliet’s lover, Romeo, also generates Juliet’s suicide because of his immature and impulsive. For example, Romeo goes back to Verona immediately when he hears Juliet is dead. He decides, â€Å"hire those horses, (he) ‘ll be with (Juliet) straight. †(). When Romeo gets the news of Juliet death, he should stay in Mantua until more information because it will not benefit him if he goes back to Verona. As a person who has been banished, it is illegal to leaves the Mantua. If Romeo maintains calm and waits for a short time, the letter from Friar Lawrence may delivers to him and tells him the truth of the whole thing, which will change the whole play. Similarly, Romeo kills himself by a bottle of poison. He utter, â€Å"O true apothecary! Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die† (). The quotation shows Romeo is immature because he kills himself for Juliet without knows the reason of Juliet’s fake death. He is also impetuous because he goes straight to open the monument rather than ask Friar Lawrence more details about Juliet. If Romeo stays sober and find out why Juliet laying in the monument, Juliet will not commit suicide after she wakes up and sees her lover die beside her. Beside Lord Capulet and Romeo, Friar Lawrence is also directly responsible for Juliet’s death. He makes not only one, but three major mistakes that all results in death of Juliet. To begin with he gives a potion to Juliet. At this time, Friar Lawrence is the only person that Juliet will fully trust, however, Friar Lawrence shows his irresponsibility by saying, â€Å"If†¦thou hast the strength of will to slay thyself†¦take thou this vial† (). In this circumstance, Friar’s plan is very risky for unstable Juliet. He decides to take risk rather than thinks for a better plan. Juliet’s fake death does fools all the people, however, Juliet will never lie on the monument if Friar Lawrence does not give Juliet the potion, and Juliet will not die at last. Next mistake that Friar Lawrence makes is he let Friar John to send the letter, who does not know how important the letter is. It is inexcusable to let someone else to do this urgent thing. Friar John shows his incompetence when he says â€Å"I could not send it, here it is again† (). The letter is one of the most crucial symbol in the play. To a certain extent, Friar John fails send the letter to Romeo foreshadow the play will have a tragedy ending. If Friar Lawrence delivers the letter by himself, the plan may proceed perfectly. The quotation shows Friar Lawrence is responsible for Juliet’s death by trusts the person as talentless as Friar John. Then, Friar Lawrence’s cowardice is another reason why Friar Lawrence responsible for Juliet’s death. He attempts to help Juliet by hiding Romeo’s body, but he gives up when he hears the watch’s horn. He says â€Å"(he) dare no longer stay† (), and runs away when Juliet needs him the most. As a friar and the only adult that Juliet trusts, Friar Lawrence puts himself before Juliet, and worries about getting caught by the watch. He shows that he does not care about Juliet because he leaves Juliet to kills herself, even though it is completely his fault. If he chooses stays with Juliet rather than runs away, he can at least takes the dagger away from Juliet, or comforts her until she abandons to suicide. Unfortunately, Friar Lawrence runs away for his own safety, and because of his cowardice, Juliet ends up dead. In conclusion, Juliet’s suicide is not only her fault, Lord Capulet, Romeo and Friar Lawrence are also related to her death because of different reasons.

At the same time, one of the foremost missions of Tesco was to offer products and services at lowest price in order to target all types of customer for those who want to purchase from this company. From the very beginning, this company followed cost effective strategy and the company reduced its price at highest level in order to protect competitors to capture while it found that competitors is going to draw attention of the customer by their special offer at low price. In order to offer lower price, Tesco has to create strong supply chain by maintaining good relationship with the suppliers, and the management of the company always try to find out low cost suppliers who would provide quality products, such as, Bangladeshi readymade garments suppliers has fame to provide high quality products with low price. On the other hand, Tesco has successfully create large loyal customer base in national and international market by implementing its low cost strategies and it also concentrates on the cultural factors to operate its outlet in foreign countries, which also help the company to retain customers. For instance, the trading conditions of South Korea, China, Ireland have deteriorated due to global financial crisis but the company was reduced operati ng costs and the price of the products, which balance the profitability level as the customers are loyal; as a result, this company regain its market position in those areas within very short period. Suggested Strategies to Tesco for future development This report scrutinise the present strategies of Tesco to recommend the most suitable strategies those the company should follow in near future and this report also suggests some strategies in light of some effective strategic tools to gain competitive advantage over competitors. Ansoff Matrix for Tesco According to the annual report 2009 of Tesco, this company has already positioned it as the UK market leader in retail business and it is in the third position in global market; as a result, it would be easy for Tesco to consider this strategy to develop its business at existing or new market. However, the following figure shows the Ansoff Matrix for Tesco Market penetration: This strategy concentrates on the development of existing products at existing market and it is an effective strategy for Tesco since the customers of existing markets would like its products because they are loyal customers and company has strong brand image, low price and high quality. However, the flowing figure shows the sales of its existing products in existing markets Figure 3: Sales by region Source: Tesco (9) Market Development: Tesco has business operation in 14 countries; therefore, its existing products and service range has bright prospect in other developed countries in the world. In order develop markets in European or Asian countries, Tesco should apply this strategy with their regular price offer as pricing is one of the important factors to the customer as well as company. Figure 4: Ansoff Matrix Source: Self generated from Kotler Armstrong (221) Product Development: Johnson, Kevan and Richard (29) argued that this strategy indicates new product development in existing market and this strategy is effective for the future prospect Tesco. However, Tesco has already developed 500 new products for the UK market in the recessionary period as part of its ‘Discount Brands at Tesco’ initiative, and This company introduced 27 new items for the Malaysia’s stores; Diversification: Tesco should not drive to follow this strategy in this stage, as new products development in existing market is profitable but it not always easy for retailers to develop new product for new markets; however, Tesco can expand its operation in the new areas with existing products. Porters Generic Strategies Cost Leadership Strategy: Tesco always offers lowest price to the target customers, such as, its overall food price has fallen more than 17% from 2000 to 2006 and Tesco restructure its pricing strategy in the period global financial crisis to cut production costs to provide lowest price in the market. At the same time, Tesco should carry on this strategy as market is highly competitive where pricing is the prime factor to retain customers; however, the following figure demonstrates decreasing price in food sector Figure 5: Trend in real food prices since 2000 Source: Tesco (1) Differential strategy: from the above discussion, it is clear that this strategy is fruitful for Tesco as it always eager to offer new products for the national and international customers; therefore, in 2009 it introduces 500 products to save the company from recession; Focus Strategy: As this strategy refers to focus on a narrower market segment through achieving cost advantages, Tesco should not follow this strategy. Lynch’s Expansion Method Matrix This expansion matrix is the process by which the company can select appropriate route of entry; as a result, Tesco can increase its market share both in national and global market by adopting subsequent methods, for example, merger, Acquisition, Joint Venture, alliance, etc. The following diagram shows the expansion method with more information Figure 6: Expansion Method Matrix Sources: Self generated Current Market: According to the annual report 2009 of Tesco, this company is more concentrates on the UK market expansion as more than 70% of its total profit is generated from this market. However, Tesco is increasing its number of outlets in local as well as other 13 countries where it has operation, for instance, in 2008 and 2009, its total stores were 2318 stores and 4331 stores accordingly, but it has now more than 5380 outlets in the current 14 market place, which demonstrates that this is an effective strategy for Tesco. However, the above figure demonstrates some expansion strategy for Tesco to expand the business (such as International, Core UK, Non-food, Retailing Services, and Community) in current national and international market; New Market: It is important to mention that Tesco has business operation only on 14 countries though Tesco is one of the most successful companies in international market. As a resu lt, it should start operation in new zone for example it can start operation in Singapore and Hong Kong as Tesco has experienced to operate successfully in Chinese market and Korean market; however, it can develop its market by joint venturing with local competitors or applying other mode of entry strategies. Those posts might be tied together with a consistent hashtag or visual aesthetic too. However, there are a couple reasons why we suggest starting with channel selection: Your goals will depend in part on which social networks your campaign content is on. Creating that content would be nearly impossible without knowing which networks you’ll be using. For example, post copy that works great on Facebook might not translate into a quality tweet. If you need some assistance determining which channels might be best suited to your campaign, check this quick visual guide: Some other reasons to choose particular networks over others might include: Which networks typically perform best. You might want to focus on your top-performing networks. Which emerging networks are you considering experimenting with.  It's important not to chase every new network for no reason, but experimentation can lead to major success. Which networks have potential for your brand, but are currently underperforming. You might also choose to plan a campaign to improve your performance on one that’s struggling. Bonus Tip: Determine if your campaign will focus on one network, or span multiple networks. This will make it easier to gauge how long it’ll take to plan and execute your campaign. Set Your Goals Successful campaigns need a purpose. Before you get too far in your planning process, determine exactly what you want your campaign to achieve. Here are some ideas: Increase followers Generate email signups Promote an event Raise awareness around an issue Inform your audience about a new product or feature Once you have some broad overarching goals, connect them to actual metrics to measure success. The data you use to measure success to be directly connected to your goals. In order to set realistic goals, however, you’ll need to know how your content typically performs on social media. One way to do this is to dig into in-app analytics available for each social media network. Here’s a quick visual guide: When you’re preparing your campaign plan, you can summarize your goals following this format: â€Å"This campaign aims to improve [INSERT GOAL] by [INSERT PERCENTAGE] over [INSERT TIMESPAN].† Your goal can get even more specific than what’s on the graphic shown above, too. If your goal is to improve brand loyalty, your goal statement might read something like this: â€Å"This campaign will strengthen brand awareness by growing our Twitter following by 25% over three months.† Simple. Specific. Accountable. That’s all your goals need to be. Recommended Reading: How to Use Social Media Analytics to Create the Best Content Figuring Out Your Audience The first step in social media campaign planning is determining your audience. This could be your core customer base, or simply a specific segment of your total audience. For example, if you sell automotive parts, you might create a campaign promoting winter vehicle accessories to followers in snowy areas. Or, if you sell musical instruments, you might create a campaign targeting people who play a particular instrument. Recommended Reading: How to Find Your Target Audience and Create the Best Content That Connects Next, You’ll Need an Idea Successful campaigns are driven by big ideas. In traditional advertising parlance, a â€Å"big idea† is a general overarching theme or concept you want to communicate. Nike’s â€Å"Just Do It† slogan is a classic example. The company realized people’s aversion to working out was a roadblock stopping them from buying running shoes. So, they devised messaging that pushed people to â€Å"just do it† anyway. How do you come up with creative ideas like this? Start by connecting two things: A problem for your audience. A solution you can solve for them.Your Audience's Problems + Your Brand + Creativity = Your Next Social Campaign IdeaYou could also approach this in terms of finding an intersection between your audience’s interests in general, and your product or service. This connection is what makes most classic creative slogans work (and good content marketing in general). Recommended Reading: How to Generate Better Social Media Campaign Ideas Like a Creative Genius Determine Your Post Frequency and Schedule Write your posts first. Start off by determining two things: How many posts will you write? How far out will these posts be scheduled? The answers to each point above depend on the importance of what you’re promoting, the size of your budget, and how much time you have. Here are some hypothetical examples to consider: Your business is planning a summer sale. Ideally, your first post would kick off on the first day of summer. From there, you plan weekly posts throughout the duration of the sale. You’re planning promotions for a major charity event. Since you have sufficient budget to shoot video, you choose to focus on video-friendly platforms like Facebook and Twitter. Your boss hands down a specific directive to increase your Twitter following. You decide to focus on a high-volume Twitter-only campaign that encourages sharing. These are all common situations marketers find themselves in. They’re also all completely different from one another, requiring different numbers of posts across varying numbers of social channels. So, what you’ll need to determine is how much content does your campaign really warrant. Then, you’ll need to lay out a plan that fits an appropriate level of effort and attention. Here’s what a hypothetical posting schedule might look like for a large-scale social campaign: 12 Facebook posts 12 posts on Instagram 24 tweets Eight Google+ posts Five LinkedIn updates Three Pins on Pinterest Let’s say you have a smaller campaign promoting an original research report you’ve produced. You decide your Facebook audience might not be interested, but your followers include a high number of professionals on Twitter and LinkedIn. In this case, here’s what your post outline might look like: 12 tweets Three LinkedIn updates One Google+ post These aren’t scientific numbers by any means. The key takeaway here is to simply consider how many posts you’ll create for each network you’ve selected. Getting this right might take some trial and error, and that’s okay. Just make a plan, execute it, and see what happens. Just make a plan, execute it, and see what happens. #social #mediaKeep the Rest of Your Social Scheduling in Mind, Too If you’re curating content, resharing evergreen content, or running multiple campaigns at once, keep all of that in mind. Be careful not to oversaturate your social channels. Recommended Reading: How Often to Post on Social Media? [Proven Research from 10 Studies] What 20 Studies Say About the Best Times to Post on Social Media The Social Media Posting Schedule That Will Boost Your Traffic By 192% Put Your Campaign Plan Into a Proposal If you’re a consultant or agency marketer, you may need to get approval for your campaign. One way to do this is with a well-crafted proposal. Generally speaking, your proposal should include: The name of your campaign. A brief summary describing your idea. A quick description of your intended audience. An outline for how many posts you’ll create. Clear goals tied to specific performance metrics. If you’re running a smaller campaign, you might go into more detail and include an outline for each post in your campaign. For example, if you were running a contest, your post outline could look like this: First post: Campaign kickoff introducing the contest. Second post: A promotional post explaining that the contest is underway. Third post: Another promotional post telling your audience time to win is running out. Fourth post: One last post encouraging people to enter. Fifth post: A â€Å"contest closed† post letting people know you’ll be announcing a winner soon. If you’re planning an extremely high volume of posts, mapping out each one this way may not make sense. However, if it’s reasonable to do so, it can help you lay out a clear purpose for each post throughout your campaign. And doing things with purpose is why we’re investing in campaign planning in the first place, right? Recommended Reading: How to Quickly Build Social Media Proposals That Win Clients (Free Template) Putting Your Campaign Plan Into Action Now it’s time to roll up your sleeves and get the real work done. This is where the rubber meets the road, so to speak. Write Your Post Copy As you’re writing your social media posts, keep these things in mind: Do these posts need to be in sequential order? For example, if you’re running a contest, you might need posts announcing the start and end dates, plus more posts in between. Make sure your posts make sense within context of one another. Would this campaign benefit from using a hashtag? If so, would it be better to leverage an existing hashtag, or create one specific for this campaign? What sorts of visual content will these posts need? For each one, give your designer some kind of direction to work with. Make sure your post copy will match those images, too. It’s also important to craft unique messages for every social network. What works well might not be a good fit on Twitter, and so on. Write out each post either in a spreadsheet or word processor (the download bundle in this post includes a free spreadsheet for this purpose). For each post, include the following: Post copy Image direction A URL (if you'll be including a link) The post's order in your campaign A hypothetical example might look like this: Post 1 Copy: This is an #awesome social media post. Image: A person doing something awesome. URL: awesome-site.net/super-awesome Recommended Reading: This is How to Write for Social Media to Create the Best Posts A Few Writing Tips to Help Your Designer Out Assuming you’ll be creating images for your posts, we recommend having a writer put together image direction first. The two-person writer / designer team structure goes back to traditional advertising. Typically, a writer will sketch out an idea that a designer helps bring to life. If you have a designer on staff, this approach can help create a seamless workflow for your campaign creative. Sometimes, writers and designers can butt heads. This is sometimes the result of miscommunication. If you want to keep your designer happy, follow these tips: Be realistic about what your designer can accomplish. It’s easy for our imaginations to be bigger than what’s possible within our budget and timeline. If you’re not sure if your designer can create something, ask. Communicate your vision as clearly as possible. Be specific or don’t complain when the results don’t turn out how you would have liked. If your images need stats, charts, or graphs, provide that data. Let your designer know exactly what you're envisioning. If you find yourself struggling to explain your ideas for an image, consider using MS Paint (Windows) or Paintbrush (Mac) to make a rough sketch of what you’re thinking. It doesn’t have to be great, as long as it conveys what you’d like the end product to look like. This could mean having a designer create images, or you might choose to shoot videos. Follow these tips for keeping everything consistent: Stick to one aesthetic. Use a consistent color scheme throughout your visual assets. Whether you choose photos or illustrations, consider sticking to one or the other. This will help give your campaign assets a consistent look. Stay on-brand. Ensure all visual content matches your company's brand standards.
